I'm a big fan of coffeehouse mystery series author Cleo Coyle, whose 11th book in the series, A Brew to a Kill, features a cupcake truck bringing competition to coffeeshop Village Blend, and whose latest book in the series, the 12th, is called Holiday Buzz and is about murder at the holidays in New York City, with a sweet nod to the famous O. Henry story "The Gift of the Magi." I'll be interviewing her soon about baking and her mysteries and, of course, cupcakes and research (like going to the Vendy Awards), but for now, I wanted to share her blue velvet cupcakes which, collectively, make up a beautiful and festive cupcake menorah for Hannukah, with you.
